Baby's Here!!!!
Hey Guys,
So this will probably be the one and only time I do this blog stuff because I have no idea what I'm doing. Anyway, our baby officially known as Michael John Boria III or "Trip" which is what we're going to call him arrived this morning at 7:57a.m. weighing in at a hefty 8lbs 60z and 21in long. By the way just to clear up any confusion we are calling him Trip because he is "the third" which goes along with "triple" which is how we get "Trip". So anyway besides the baby, Jill was definitely the star of the show last night. We showed up for the hospital last night at about 7 because she was scheduled for induction today. For about 3 weeks she hadn't dilated much so the doctor decided that Jill would first come in to the hospital to get some medication to speed up the process and then be induced with pitocin for what was thought to be a long and painful labor. Little did we know that the gel stuff they gave her sped up the process to warp speed and at about 3 am she went into active labor. Active labor was really tough considering they tried with the epidural and it totally didn't work at all. At about 730, Jill was ready to push our little guy out and with a few good pushes he showed up at 7:57am. It was literally the most incredible thing I have ever seen and I was amazed and inspired by how great and strong Jill was......sooo.....Ok as some of you may already know, Trip was the 1st baby boy born at St. Joe's North which made him a little celebrity. We got a lot of great stuff which ill let Jill tell you about and we were on the news Ch. 13. All of that was pretty cool but because of all the craziness going on today I wasn't able to get any pictures up until now. So to all of you who wanted pictures earlier sorry but too bad lol. Sorry if this post rambles but like I said earlier first and last post for me the new and very excited dad. Enjoy the Pics!!

The baby is due tomorrow but....
I thought by now I would be blogging about my beautiful new baby boy... not so much! My doctor assured me that our baby would be coming early due to the fact that I was 1 centimeter dilated 4 or 5 weeks ago. When I went in this past Friday I was still 1 centimeter dilated, and if that news wasn't depressing enough she told me that because my body isn't responding I need to prepare for a LONG labor. I guess the babies head is ready to go and I am having a ton of contractions, pressure, and pain but my body isn't doing anything about it. I will be one of those 30+ hr laborers. The other news we found out is that by this week our baby should be around the 8 1/2+ pound range and by next week which is when I will be induced if he doesn't show up on his own, he will be in the 9+ pound range. I realize a few of you have had 9 lb babies but I am sure it won't be as pleasant an experience. So that's the update... if any of you feel like eating a bunch of chocolate just give me a call although I don't know if that will help with the babies' size. :)
